Long Day!

We had an incredibly long day!! We flew out Ontario to Phoenix at 6:30 am. Changed planes and flew to Philadelphia where we changed planes again and then flew to London. We had to rush to both plane changes so we would not miss our next flight. We barely had time to use the restrooms, grab food and run. We got here about 7:00 this morning. In California time, we got up at 2:30 am to get to the airport on time and arrived in London at 11:00pm. We are spending the night in England and then take off for Scotland in the morning. We have definitely figured out how tiring travel can be.



After a quick swim in the hotel pool we went into the town of Bishop's Stortford to eat and look around. You will have to check out the picture below to see where we ate our first meal in Europe. Chris and I found a beautiful 15th century church in town and walked around while the girls went to some of the shops. We found humor in the way the church expanded their parking near the church cemetery. They laid down head stones, cemented them in and made themselves some nice little clergy parking spots.



It is barely 8pm here and everyone is crashed. I think I will head for bed too.
